I was walking in the woods one afternoon
I was strumming my guitar and I was humming a tune
The birds and the bees they could hear my song
So they buzzed and they tweeted and they sang along, it went:
Ba ba ba ba ba ba ba

I kept walking and singing for a minute or three
When a mouse and a squirrel came along to see
They brought their families and all their friends
Then everybody shouted ‘Let’s sing it again’. We sang:
Ba ba ba ba ba ba ba

And we sang together, and we sang together,
And we sang together all day long

I said ‘goodbye and I’m glad we met’.
They said ‘Hold on a minute ‘cause we’re gonna forget it’.
Then they asked me very nicely to write my song down
So that everybody everywhere can share it around, It goes:
